- Brush your teeth with anti-sensitivity toothpaste for two minutes and spit. Do not rinse and do not eat or drink for a ½ hour.
- If you have specific areas that are sensitive more than others, at night before bed apply some toothpaste to your finger tip and rub gently on sensitive area and leave on teeth and go to bed. Do this extra step until the sensitivity in that area subsides.
- If you have a strong preference for a specific toothpaste, such as whitening or gum disease control toothpaste: use the anti-sensitive toothpaste as instructed above for the night time brushing and care and use your preferred toothpaste in the morning brush.
Please note that whitening toothpaste and all whitening products and treatments increase teeth sensitivity.
