UnitedHealthcare is one of the top dental insurance providers with an extensive menu of dental insurance options for employers, families, and individuals. They are a subsidiary of United Health Group, which is the largest provider of health insurance in the United States, and all their plans are underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company. Due to UnitedHealthcare having such an expansive menu of dental insurance options, thankfully, we are able to accept a variety of their plans at our New York City dental practice.
Generally speaking, UnitedHealthcare provides coverage for preventative care, basic services, and some major services. What’s nice about UnitedHealthcare is the size of their network, which allows you to chose from over 85,000 dental offices like Making You Smile Cosmetic Dental Studio. Conveniently, you don’t have to submit a claims form either, as they pay in-network providers directly.
